“ I first discovered Double Dipped from my Environmental Science teacher receiving a package of colorful and unique sweaters. I already loved style and clothes before arriving at The Climbing Academy (TCA), so I was interested in what my teacher was wearing. Meeting all the new people and all the new styles at TCA, I yearned to expand my taste and increase the different ways I used my clothing. I also was looking to expand my closet without using money from my broke bank account. So, using my newly formed photography skills learned from Media Class, I successfully struck a deal to trade photos for clothes. My interest in double dipped clothing came largely from the fact that their clothing was custom and handmade, giving them a unique and personal touch. On top of that, Double Dipped’s act of reusing materials for all their products makes them as environmentally friendly as they are moral. Reusing materials helps prevent the support of fast fashion which wastes materials and supports sweatshops. Double Dipped makes me feel comfortable and conscious-free as I crush climbs. Each clothing article feels unique for being customized to my preference. The sweatshirt I received in compensation for my first photoshoot had my favorite catchphrase, “Wassup?!” on the front and I was offered a cool addition of “WOW” on the back that says, “MOM” if I do a handstand. My first set of photoshoots with Double Dipped, I experimented largely with how their clothing could be used in climbing settings and activities. However, for my second set of photoshoots I simply wanted to highlight how steezy and awesome people can look in Double Dipped clothing. I am enthusiastic to have worked with such an incredible company of great product value and I am extremely satisfied with the sweater and shorts I received for the photos  I produced. “
